Surface treatment of the pulley

The pulley surface could be treated in different ways according to specific environments and occasions. The treatment methods are divided into the following types:

1. Galvanization

Galvanization is suitable for the industrial equipment used in light industry, instrumentation, electromechanical industry, agricultural machinery, national defense industry, etc. As the most common way for pulley surface treatment at present, it is really environmental-friendly and has  following characteristics compared with traditional galvanizing:

(1) Use no toxic cyanide, so the generated waste water can be treated easily

(2) Form fine layer and good gloss, the dispersing ability and the deep plating ability are close to the cyanide plating solution, thus can apply to the parts with complex shapes.

(3) The plating solution is stable and easy to operate

(4) No corrosion to equipment

(5) Low cost

2. Chromeplate

Decorative chromium is mainly used in automobiles, bicycles, household hardware, household appliances, instrument switches, mechanical parts and other equipment and facilities. The decorative chrome is made of nickel and nickel chrome to ensure product quality. The treated surface in this way is silver-white, with the characteristics of strong corrosion resistance, good decorative appearance and a high reflection coefficient.

3. Rubber covering

The metal steel pipe is coated with rubber, then vulcanized to form rubber cover roller. Compared with the ordinary pulley, the rubber covering pulley has the characteristics of being elastic, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance (butyl nitrile rubber), hot resistance and rust proof; This surface treatment adopts imported raw materials and adhesives, and use natural rubber and nitrile rubber commonly. The colors of black, green and light gray are recommended.

4. Hard chrome plating

Hard chrome, also known as wear-resistant chrome, can increase the surface hardness of the pulley, improve wear resistance, hot resistance and corrosion resistance. It is used for the treatment of mechanical molds, plastic molds, corrosion-resistant valves, printing pulley, textile pulley, paper making pulley and measuring tools, the surface is silver white.
