Introduction
The side cantilever stacker is widely used in cement, building materials, coal, electric power, metallurgy, steel, chemical and other industries. It adopts herringbone stacking process to achieve pre-homogenization of auxiliary materials for limestone, coal, iron ore and cement plants, with the stacking capacity of 100-4000t/h.
The equipment has two types: side cantilever stacker, rotary cantilever stacker.
Working Principle
During the process, the material from the overland belt conveyor is transferred by the tripper to the belt conveyor on the main machine boom, then unloaded on the stock yard by the hopper of the centering mechanism. Along with the material discharging by boom belt conveyor, the driving carriage of the main travelling mechanism starts continuously walking according to the logic procedure and completes the herringbone stacking operation. The cart travels back and forth at the same speed to ensure uniform thickness of the material layer.
When the pile is accumulated to a certain height, the material detecting device at the front end of the boom will send a position signal to instruct the pitching mechanism to lift the boom by a height. Meanwhile, the funnel of the centering mechanism varies its angle accordingly to maintain the blanking center line unchanged, and the travelling mechanism removes to a new start position, the stacker continues the stacking process back and forth until to the next cycle.

Structure
The stacker mainly consists of the cantilever, hydraulic system, driving device, feeding tripper, power cable reel, control cable reel and etc. The slewing mechanism can be arranged to form a cantilever slewing stacker.
