Elimination methods to the common faults in bridge type bucket wheel reclaimer
The common failures in bridge type
bucket wheel reclaimer include man-made faults and natural faults. Man-made faults are mainly caused by illegal operation and poor maintenance. And this kind of common faults can be eliminated by improving the operators’ technical level, strictly operating, maintaining, checking according to the operating procedures and timely adjusting. However, the natural faults cannot be avoided since they are mainly caused by wear, corrosion, strain and damage, etc., so it is only effective to regularly inspect equipment and comprehensively grasp the technical status of the equipment in order to reduce the incidence of failure and maintain a good technical condition. In case of mechanical failure, the first thing is to analyze the fault, understand the cause of the failure, master the process of the fault formation, and then repair it.
The fault analysis and solution of the overheated fuel injection in fluid coupling are as follows:
In the bucket wheel drive mechanism, the fluid coupling protects the motor from overloading. When the fluid coupling temperature exceeds a certain level, the fusible plug will inject oil. However, if the bucket wheel reclaiming does not reach the maximum capacity, the rotational torque of the bucket wheel is too large, overheated injection in the fluid coupling will occur.
Failure analysis: Reclaiming too much material, bucket wheel is stalled. The oil is not up to the required standard, the amount of oil is too high or too low; the oil quality is inferior, and its performance cannot meet the transmission requirements; the oil in fluid coupling deteriorates.
Elimination method: Fill up to the specified oil level; drain all the oil in the coupling, flush the coupling cavity, and refill the fluid coupling with oil.
